There is a real, live spider named the Two-Striped Telamonia. It is a jumping spider native to Indonesia, but it is not venomous or deadly to humans

The story about them and the toilet seats are not true if you are wondering.

The Two-Striped Telamonia is a spider found in Singapore, not under toilet seats. It needs a tropical environment to live. They are jumping spiders, and would be very unlikely to be found hanging out beneath toilet seats. If that's what you want to know.
