How to bring in more business for the restaurant?

This Japanese restaurant has been here for more than 10 years and it still has it's regular clientel. Business is starting to go down because of many competitions. I've been to our competitors and disliked the food and service at many places. I feel like my servers are more knowledgable about the menu than most places. The food here sells itself, but how I do bring in more customers that don't know we exist?

If there is a non-smoking section, why isn't there a child free section?

As a couple with no children I am very put off when I hear children screaming or see them running around while I'm trying to enjoy dinner. Children are children and that's fine in the children's section of McDonald's. The parents aren't to blame totally but their children's behavoir is their responsibility.
