That depends on the size of your apartment. Studios can run about $500-600, and it goes up from there to about $1800 or so.

Your best bet would be to check out Craigslist for what you want:

I've seen them between $500-$1000 depending on location and size. The closest apartments to me rent for $800.00 - the 2 bedroom ones. They are brand new, near the university, near several shopping places, and have a pool and a club house.

Oh, I thought of somewhere else you could look this morning as I read the paper. There are often rentals listed in the Shopper, The Thrifty Nickel, and of course the Pensacola News Journal. The PNJ has classifieds on line http://classifieds.pensacolanewsjournal.com/. Look in the second column for the rentals link. Happy hunting and I hope that helps you develop your budget.

I have vacationed in Pensacola Beach, FL. I love that place. I hope you do too!! We almost moved to Pensacola so we did a little research. There is a girl who worked for Costal Properties. Her last name began with a "W". She could probably help you out a lot. She spoke of how her mother had recently moved from Missouri to Santa Rosa County.

I have found that if you want stuff that's in Santa Rosa County it's nicer but a bit more expensive.

If you go to Escambia County, it's cheaper but a bit more run down.

Crime is higher in Escambia and lower in Santa Rosa but when compaired to a big city, the crime is almost nonexistent.

The schools in Santa Rosa might be consiered better because they pay their teachers better.
