It depends on what city you live in and what type of restaurants are their. For example, where I live there is a Garfield's that has a promotion that Every Sunday Kids Eat Free(2 per adult). Before their meal they have the enjoyment of colorng and drawing pictures on the table. The tables are covered with white paper. You should research your local restaurant.

Your back yard. This question must be an oxymoron as the two are completely incompatible. Small kids in a public place to eat are ALWAYS an imposition on others. ALWAYS. Just stick to you back yard until they are trained to sit and be respectful. No shouting, running, crying, pooping, etc and etc and etc. Keep them at home.

Bay Beach in Green Bay. It is a city owned amusement park that is really cheap. When I was a kid--late sixties--rides were 10 cents.

If you have one near you a place called CiCi's Pizza. It's a buffet, 3.99 for adults, less for kids, have a small game room. We've found them in the Midwest and South, don't know about where you're at.

Not sure if you have them in your area, but Dave & Busters is great for kids over 7 - they have video games etc. For kids under 7, you can't beat Chuck E Cheese.
