Is it me or are the slices of cheesecake you get when you eat in the restaurant substantially bigger than the slices you get when you take a slice to go? I am wondering if anyone else noticed this? I have also noticed that the slice of cheesecake you get for your 7 dollars is quit smaller than it used to be.

Am I just crazy or did any else notice this?

Looking for a good restaurant to have a birthday party at, in the LA area preferably. One that has a nice lounge/bar area that is fun to hang out at afterwards that you can have some drinks and fun. (But not one that turns into a club.) Thanks.

I'm going to eat tonight with my mom and sister. What are some of your favorite places to eat? I can't even decide what type of food I want? I'm so indecisive, so I need your help.

I live here, so save me the Cheesecake factory, North End, Newbury same-olds that tourists go for. I'm thinking Bell in Hand or Abe and Louie's. Convince me of something else or tell me which of these is better.

I'm looking for recommendations on old-style western restaurants in the greater Phoenix area to accomodate a large party (150 people). I went to Pinnacle Peak in Scottsdale last night and thought it was just OK. Anyone have any feedback on places like Reata Pass, Rawhide, San Tan Flats...or anything else in that genre?
Thanks!

Hi All and Happy Thanksgiving!

My fiance and I just moved to town. This is our first Thanksgiving away from home and we are 2500 miles from all our family. We were hoping to enjoy Thanksgiving this year at a restaurant buffet. After doing some internet research, we've found a variety of places but wanted to know where the BEST places were from the natives. Thanks for your input! Giving thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Best

I would like to have a birthday party at a nice restaurant or bar in the Los Angeles area. Nothing to fancy but not to cheap either. I already have a DJ, but no location. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

We are looking for an area that has several cool spots within walking distance of each other so we can get all trashed and then pile back into the limo and be taken home nice and safe. We live in Riverside so we are with an hour or less of several places: LA, San Diego, OC, Santa Barbara/Ventura....Please Help!!
