Looking for a good restaurant to have a birthday party at, in the LA area preferably. One that has a nice lounge/bar area that is fun to hang out at afterwards that you can have some drinks and fun. (But not one that turns into a club.) Thanks.

Lola's on Melrose is a really good place. It's a good restaurant with a separate bar area with pool tables. I had my graduation party there and it was fun. They have awesome food and drinks...they're famous for thier martinis.
