From Grand Central Station, take the MTA Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line to Tarrytown. From Tarrytown, take the Tappan ZEExpress bus (TZX-1, $1.50 one-way fare, approximately 40 minute trip) which stops at the Palisades Center Mall.

Just go to the Port Authority bus teminal....
You should really take the bus to Woodbury Commons outlet mall. It's just past Palisades Mall and has wonderful stores and bargains.
