We are thinking about purchasing a tv, but we do not know which is better, the plasma or lcd? I want to know if the plasma tv holds up as well as an lcd tv. It appears to me the lcd tv has a very sharp and clear picture, which I like very much. Thank you for whatever information you can give me.

I want to buy the new LF-B20 from Sony (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I62YBO/ref=pd_cp_e_title/104-5096468-0787156) but I can't find if it is NTSC only or if it now supports PAL too? I'll be buying this in the USA but would like to send video encoded in Australia (PAL source) over to the states? I'll be playing back on a PC and an Australian PSP (PAL)

I have a old SONY trinitron TV set.... it's 29 inches... (not a computer CRT monitor).... Recently after watching for 5 minutes, the tunng screwed up... when i use my VCR for TV tuning, the TV is all fine... is it because there are too many dust gathering inside the set or maybe the capacitor had worn out???

The way I understand it is HDTV is more popular in the US while digital TV is a buzzword in the UK (even though you hear the latter in the US). Digital TV, in the UK at least seems to take after the concept of a DVD where you have value added services such as interactive menus and never before seen videos. Am I correct?

I don't know much about the new tvs but like the size of this one. It is Sony, 1920 x 1080p (whatever that means). Would appreciate any help you might want to share. I'v been looking for a "slim" flat panel and this is about the largest LCD that I can find. Thank you.

My old TV was fried during an electrical storm, so I got a new one. I'm wondering if I can just send it out with the rest of my trash or if there is a proper way to dispose of it? Thanks! :)

so to go more in depth; it's a SONY 1995 model KP-53V25 and it's a 60inch screen, the red bulb seems to be out/gone.

my friend says she knows its the red bulb because there is this thing that you can do to allign the bulbs where you make them match up to this X and the red screen has NO X.

all the colors are off, red is black, green is a horrible brown-yellow color, and flesh tone has blue tint to it. if anyone knows HOW we would go about finding a red bulb replacement and how much that would cost please let me know. in fact any help about this situation would be much appreciated. thank you all in advance. :)

I already have a satellite dish in place.
There are loads of boxes for sale on ebay, but most don't come with a sky card. Some say they work without a viewing card...is this possible? Any advice would be appreciated.

Anyone else having problems with most channels saying that they will "be available shortly"? We have been waiting since last night for the channels to be available.

I saw a piece on the news that said because Comcast bought out Time Warner that people were having problems. Comcast did not acknowledge any problems.

I called this morning and they said they would send a signal to clear up the problem. They said if that did not work to unplug everything for 10-15 min. I have done both and nothing helps.

So.... Have you guys found anything that works?

Thanks!
