www.comet.co.uk is pretty good on deals altough you could try www.pricerunner.co.uk to compare offers from a wide range on retailers.

It depends what you want...the larger retailers like Comet and Curry's often give an extra discount for ordering over the web. they can also offer lower prices as they have more ordering power and larger stock. Saying that, try local too...the local electrical shop near me in a little Scottish town used to be REALLY competitive and try and find me the best price and order it in for me. If it was a tenner more it saved me driving a few round trips of 50 miles +...

I would try a price comparison site first (froogle, kellko). I know of the following websites:
http://www.directtvs.co.uk/ 0870 264 2125
http://www.amazon.co.uk
http://www.timeuk.com/ (these guys have some great deals)

Plus I know that Woolworths have a 32" LCD tv going for about £399 ish.

Happy shopping

My votes are for (1) ebay of course and (2) Google's Froogle, but only *after* you've chosen the brand and model through a thorough review.

We were already paying members of consumerreports.org, and we trusted their online ratings, but I know there are lots of other online ratings. Then after you've picked a few top brands/models, go to each *manufacturer*'s website and get *their* price if possible, *then* go to say, Best Buy or Circuit City website, then finally ebay and Froogle.

Different places have different deals. There's not one place that has the best deal on all sets. Therefore, I recommend you looking up some models on one of the price comparison websites. Here are a few that I prefer...

Here. You can have mine practically free, pay only the costs for shipping.
It is still new (not used). Unfortunately it is very small and black and white.
