Anyone else having problems with most channels saying that they will "be available shortly"? We have been waiting since last night for the channels to be available.

I saw a piece on the news that said because Comcast bought out Time Warner that people were having problems. Comcast did not acknowledge any problems.

I called this morning and they said they would send a signal to clear up the problem. They said if that did not work to unplug everything for 10-15 min. I have done both and nothing helps.

So.... Have you guys found anything that works?

Thanks!

go with Satellite (DISH or DirectTV).
I work for a municipality and I get nothing but Comcast complaints all day long! I have DISH, and I am never unhappy!

I have found Comcast to be the most inept, rude and faulty service I have ever had the privilege of paying $150.00 a month for. Where I live Comcast is the only cable option and satellite is not allowed by the management. My service has been weird the last few days- interrupted, sound but no picture, menus changing around. I usually ens up in a screaming rage by the time I'm done trying to deal with their customer service, because they are the absolute worst- they make the credit card people look like saints- so I just walk away from the TV for now. Sorry I can't help, but when you are dealing with comcast there is not much you can do.

well first of all, time warner bought out comcast, but as far as your problems goes, i have had that problem in the past and something may be wrong with your box. so i would just take the box back up there and have them to exchange it and then when u hook the new box back up, have them to send a signal to it. if that don't work check your cable lines and make sure they are all tight, u may have tohave some1 come out and look at it.

Its the two 2 issues, the two one in each and every of which will desire to be loose yet you will actually ought to spend it sluggish. the two your cable container has died or you arent getting adequate sign on your room. touch comcast and that they could desire to be waiting to envision and notice if its your sign or the container remotely genuine there on the telephone. Then they could schedule you for service or a replace.

depends what area you are with regarding comcast. truly only had a few hiccups with them and it turns out the problem was with the people that built the house putting in the wrong type of connection but they came and sorted it out.

With dish and those others here in Florida if you have that the 1st bit of wind and it is out, my neighbor often does not have any type of tv reception due to this and she has dish.

Hope it gets sorted out soon.

Change your service. I use a local service for tv and net. No problems. When they introduced cable net, they were horrible, but things have cleared up great.

Don't settle for crap service.
