Westinghouse Monitors. They are affordable because they do not have a built in receiver. Pretty much all TVs have a receiver built in - YOU DO NOT NEED ONE WITH AN HDTV. Why might you ask? B/c, the compatible stations for an HDTV can only be gotten through Satellite or Digital Cable. When you get one of those carriers (DirectTv, Comcast, WOW, ect.) you get a free receiver (make sure it is the HD one). Most people who have HDTV have 2 receivers - one in the TV (which isn't used) and the one they get (buy, rent, or is loaned) through their cable provider. So, I have a 37" Westinghouse LCD. It is beautiful. It is BOTH 1080i and 1080p (i= interlaced and p=progressive scan). Most HDTVs are not 1080i/p. They are affordable b/c they do not have a built in receiver. My LCD is beautiful. Remember there is more to HDTV than just the TV. To get maximum quality it is all about the cables you use and most importantly the cable provider you choose. Trust me, there is a lot of homework to do when getting HDTV. Please do your homework!
Plus, Westinghouse is American made, has full warranties and if you need to talk to someone in customer service... they are polite, helpful, educated and speak English!

Depends on Your room Size and where the Unit will be sighted.
The Size of screen is Normally Multiplied By 4 to obtain the Best Viewing.(i.e 32 Inch screen x4 = 128 inches seated away from the screen for the best View)
I spent 2 Months researching and Decided to go with LCD!
The Picture Clarity is far superior to that of a Plasma!.
The Panasonic VIERA Range of LCD TVs is way-ahead of the competition and Has 2 HDMI Inputs as well as 5 Years technology Built in.
The size of my room dictates that a 32 Inch would be More than adequate and I am very happy !
I went to a small Chain of retailers who provided me with the Best price,Installation and After service guarantee!(5 year Guarantee-For FREE!)
Not that there are problems (Long Term) with LCD.
Current run time is around 200,000 Hours and No Screen Burn-Unlike Plasma which is prone to this!
