I have been looking for a month, after my old clock's snooze died, and I've tried and returned many diff brands.

HERE IS WHAT I NEED:
It should have easy SNOOZE BUTTON, NATURE SOUNDS and/or CD and FOOLPROOF buttons that cannot be accidentally pushed in the dark to change the hour.

Nice extras would be either TWO alarms (that BOTH hooked up to NATURE SOUNDS) and/or 7 day alarm SCHEDULER.

(MP3 player is totally not worth the Extra $$ for me)

I'm talking about a wall outlet where the outlet already has a ground on it. Not sure what they are called as I'm not an electrician or inclined. It's the outlet near water that has a reset switch. I'm assuming its a surge protector of sorts.

Anyways seeing as it has auto shut off if it has water on it, is it safe to keep another extension cord plugged into this outlet on the counter that is not a surge protector, assuming there is a chance of said cord getting wet?

or could it be a battery pack. Trying to buy parts for something I bought in a thrift store. It looks like two pongs are sticking from item between 1/2 to 3/4 inch long...trying to get a replacement part...from the factory but not sure if my model number is there as it adds two 00's to it.

I'm looking for the most recent data on total annual worldwide production of:

Mobile phones
PCs
Video game consoles (i.e. Playstation, etc)
Handheld video games (i.e. GameBoy, etc)
MP3 players (i.e. iPods, etc)

I don't need a breakdown by territory, manufacturer, etc - just something like "XX million mobile phones were manufactured in 2005"

I currently own a Yamaha FC5 sustain pedal for my keyboard, but it has not been working very well, so I am looking to buy a new one. I have been reaserching the FC4 model, and it looks like a good pedal, but after reading reviews, I am not too sure. If you know anything about the FC4 pedal, or any other pedal, your help would be greatly appreciated! The pedal needs to have a 1/4" jack and a good base so it doesn't slip-slide around like my FC5.

Hey, My recordable DVDs no longer work, and I've not idea why... so I was just wondering if anyone could help me?

When I put the TDKs into my Panasonic recordable DVD player, it says that the disk is empty... if I try to record on it, it says that the disk is full and can't be recorded on.

I've recorded on these previously, but then deleted the programme... so I know they have worked at one point.

I'm using DVD+R and DVD-R ... I've no idea what these mean, just thought I'd let it be known.

Hoping someone can help me before I chuck them all in the bin!

Thanks very much!

KC

We're told it's better for the environment if we switch TVs, DVD players, Hi-Fi systems etc off at the plug socket rather than setting them to standby. Can doing this (perhaps several times a day) damage the electrical components inside them?

Does anyone know if you can retune a European Oregon Scientific Radio Controlled clock so it sets its self to UK time?

Or is there a way to block/disable the antenna so it doesn't pickup a signal so can be set manually?

Thanks
