So last night, I had the unfortunate experience of my XBOX360 randomly switching off and giving me the 3 red flashing lights (hardware failure/issue). My question is though how in the other room, the only thing that flashed off and on was a stereo receiver which is attached to a surge protector? The puzzling part for me is how only 1 thing out of 6 on the same surge protector in the other room experienced what I would describe as a power surge and if the Xbox in the other room somehow caused it or if the stero somehow caused the XBox surge.

Ok...so you've heard about bluray, right? It's supposedly writes more data per inch on a disc then a DVD. So you may have thought that the quality of the DVD's are nice and you thought that you might not have to upgrade your DVD player to a better system. That last comment is still a little fusy. Lets say BluRay gets into the market and forces us to upgrade our players. What are we going to do with the extra space? Sure we strive to get the highest quality possible but when do we say, 'STOP!'? An interview/survey question: If you had an option to view a 007 movie with your favorite actor, taken that you don't like a 007 actor, would you buy a movie that you could choose the actor(Pierce Brosnan or Sean Connery). And how do you think this foresight might help disolve or not work in the movie/entertainmnet business?

Whats your opinion of the format war between Blue Ray and Hd Dvd. And is it possible Direct to Drive downloads will take hold, so instead of of buying a physical disc we could all just download directly to big hard drives.. And does the ps3's blue ray player justify a 600$ price tag.

I've always liked Best Buy, selection, price, warranty and return policy, but lately I've been buying online more and from other electronics stores... What's your choice, and why?

double-door fridges are offered as a far better breed than the single-door fridges.but i think the opposite is true.if double-door fridges offer us bigger freezing area, they offer us lesser refrigeration area also.and i think ,most of the asians including many europeans and americans find the freezers of single-door fridges sufficient.sacrificing refrigeration area for freezing area is not a good idea for very many people.then why companies are creating a hype over double-door fridges and why they are charging a bit higher for double door fridges? are not these companies befooling people?

I want to get a 9" digital picture frame for my parents for x-mas. I have been reading reviews on different ones and alot of the smaller ones (7" & 5") people are saying the pictures look like crap. The resolution on these is about half of the 9".
I can't find any reviews on the 9" so I was wondering if anyone knew if this resolution would be good.
I have never seen these in person and don't want to get my parents something that is crappy. Nor do I want to pay $150.00 for something that "plays" crappy photos.
Can anyone help me?

On my Christmas light set it says... WARNING: Handling the coated electrical wire on this product exposes you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Why is the State of California the only group that knows about this?

I've had this old Rotel reciever hooked up to my Stanton CD and Turntable for a while now. Out of the back I have two unpowered speakers using regular speaker wire. I never thought about the way I hooked it up, but I think I might have had it backwards. One wire on each set of 2 for left and right has a blue line on it. Is that the negative or positive? I had the blue one going into the positive and the plain grey going into the negative. I just switched it the other way and there seems to be no difference. Does it matter?
