On the back of your karaoke machine you will find a "Video Out" single RCA connection. Using a single RCA cable, connect from that video out to the "Video In" of your VCR. Run your VCR in auxiliary mode to display the karaoke graphics on your TV.

i bought a little memorex for about $50. it's 3 yrs old, works great. i use it all the time cuz i'm a dj. it's my 'practice machine' for home use onlyand to review music as i buy it. the 'singing machine' i own is ok but the one i own has no tv monitor: i have to hook it up to a tv BUT it also has a casstte player. sometimes i'll record my singing to check it against what i hear WHILE i'm singing. for my professional unit ( lol... i said unit) i own an RSQ.... a great player for the $$$ ($280 of them) in between those prices, there are cheaper players that have a 'key change' option... you can adjust the pitch of the music up or down to suit your own voice. that's a a GREAT feature to have so you can sing a wider variety of songs. i'm a low voiced male, but i've added songs performed by WOMEN to the regular ones i sing. this is prolly way more info that you looked for, but i' thought i'd offer you the best advice you could get.
