Need help with keyboard/digital piano sustain pedals?

I currently own a Yamaha FC5 sustain pedal for my keyboard, but it has not been working very well, so I am looking to buy a new one. I have been reaserching the FC4 model, and it looks like a good pedal, but after reading reviews, I am not too sure. If you know anything about the FC4 pedal, or any other pedal, your help would be greatly appreciated! The pedal needs to have a 1/4" jack and a good base so it doesn't slip-slide around like my FC5.

Yes, a store that sells musical instruments will have the foot pedal.
