ok i am getting an mp3 player and i need to know what to get, what to buy for it and which is the best for my money without breaking my pocket. Oh and I am going to Wal-Mart to get it.

When I try to burn songs onto it in iTunes, it starts writing the first song, then the CD ejects and a pop-up comes up saying there's an unknown error on the disc. I tried using different CD burning software and had the same problem. It's a Memorex CD-R.

After I connect my iPod to my computer, it occasionally will continue to say "Do not disconnect" for hours. I'm sure it happens to many people. I usually just disconnect it, anyway.

Why does it occasionally do that, and is it okay if I disconnect it anyway?

I am 56 and love music and would love to download songs I just love, like make one section Christian and one section for using with my grands, like RAffi. I know NOTHING about ipods or MP3's, but I do know this stuff is expensive ? I need to watch very carefully what I spend but I want to buy what I need and if I make a "copy" to send to my granddaughter, what will she need to play it on and how will I record it ? I've got an ipod but have been downloading music from a computer that isn't mine---I would like to start using mine but will it delete my music if I hook it up to my computer and try to put all the songs from it into a library on itunes will it delete my songs--also I got some songs from limewire instead of buying them from itunes --will itunes delete those? and how many computers can I put music on my ipod with without messing up my ipod

Also--I know another question are movies 1$ on itunes and how hard is it to download them and how much space does it take up---and how do I download photos to my ipod from my computer--

and i have like 346 techno songs on my ipod right now i believe. but anyway anyone know any good techno songs that you can glowstring too?
lol you know like when you go to a party and its dead and no ones dancing and then you start pumpin some techno and everyone starts dancin? lol well yeah songs like that..

i may buy this ipod nano 2nd generation from a neighbor..i dont have itunes on my windows vista os..do i need to download it to sync the nano and to remove songs from the nano..i read online you need to back up your ipod by storeing all your files to itunes library before you can reset it back to the factory settings..but can i do this witn windows media player or windows media center without downloading another item??

I heard that because the earphones are so close to the eardrums that it can damage the ears overtime. Would it do less damage if I just turned the volume lower, or would it make no difference?

i have tried burning several cds over the last few months.
each cd ends up incomplete with an error message popping up that there is a problem and can not complete the burn/or disk error.
is it possible that the whole pack of blank cds i have are all bad?
when i try to play what's on the cd it plays a few songs then freezes up my cd player. say if i have 20 songs on the cd 16 play fine then #17 freezes it up.
i have tried burning thru jukebox, itues, and a few other programs.

I was on ebay and I found a ton of listings for mp3 players that look almost identical to ipods, but theyre not. theyre knock offs. They claim to work just as well if not better than an ipod, but of course theyre not going to say if theyre junk. Has anyone ever bought a generic ipod? if so, how was it?

My husband doesn't want to spend $160.00 to rent a sound system for a backyard party. He said we could buy a pretty good boombox for $160. The thing is, I'm not sure the sound is going to carry that well with a boombox. Is there something out there that would work for a backyard that doesn't cost more than $160 or thereabouts. My husband doesn't want to just throw the money away (that's what he thinks renting is). But I don't want the music to make people go deaf within 3 feet of the music source and yet people on the outskirts won't be able to hear a thing.

Does anyone know of any MP3 players that are under 60 dollars and can hold a reasonably good amount of songs. I dont have much money to spend on one, and im having trouble finding some. So if anyone has any information on one, including how many songs it can hold, etc. I would GREATLY appreciate it.
(And it doesnt really matter if its more of a childish MP3 player. Any MP3 player is okay with me)

My school i pretty safe but i don't know. It is really new and i don't want it to get lost. I'm not rich so i can't just buy a new one. We don't have lockers so we have to carry our backpacks all over the place. Should I bring to school but put in my backpack and always check on it and never leave it. I bring my cell phone but it never got stolen so yeah.
