My school i pretty safe but i don't know. It is really new and i don't want it to get lost. I'm not rich so i can't just buy a new one. We don't have lockers so we have to carry our backpacks all over the place. Should I bring to school but put in my backpack and always check on it and never leave it. I bring my cell phone but it never got stolen so yeah.

I bring mine to school. But honestly, if you want to keep it, I say don't bring it. Doesn't matter how safe your school is, there is always thieves. And you could lose and someone else might find it. I say don't but really this is entirely up to you.

Nah, don't do it.
Your gonna get it lost, if not stolen first.
many kids cant afford new school clothes, some not even lunch money, and if they can get that ipod off someone, thats like hitting the lottery..
And there is no point in listenting to it anywhere.
if your school sees it, theyll take it.
And if you really need to bring it, put it in a hardshell case and stick it at the bottom of your backpack and dont let anyone know you have it.

What I did was I bought a hard crystal case on ebay to protect it from scratches at school, and just kept track of it. I reccomend starting to wear a purse and keeping it in there, that way it's always with you and you don't have to check on it as much. I brought my ipod to school every day last year, and not only do I still have it, it's virtually scratch-free.

a lot of kids get it stolen i have a safe school two and a lot of people got it stolen i would not and cell phones to =)

If you're really concerned, they make locks for them. Look online under iPod lock, you should be able to find a place to get them. Check with Best Buy as well.

i wouldnt cause an ipod is more expensive than a cell phone and i wouldnt want to get it stolen

It's up to you, but if it were me, I wouldn't--unless on a belt clip or in my purse (which is always on my side).
It's not worth risking, and most schools don't allow cd players anyway.
