i want some new songs on it and i dont know which ones so what should i put on it??

its ages since i bought a hi fi and was always annoyed at the seemingly unnecesary confusion over how powerful a system was compared to something else.

surely all that matters is how loud something is..[not how many watts or ohms are involved] and it must be a simple scientific measurement to give any hi-fi an scientifically acurate maximum volume rating so customers can make a decision based on fact.

of course im discussing volume as the issue i'm annoyed about---obviously volume is not the be all and end all when it comes to choosing a hi fi....but i would just like the simple facts..is all!

The only website I could think of was the littlewoods site but that only sells iPods. Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh! Also, if anyone knows where you could buy external hard drives online on a weekly payment type thing as well. Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking of getting my hubby an XM radio for his work van. He only has a radio right now. Occasionally, he needs to take another van. I was wondering if it is possible to do a temporary or very easy install that would make it easy to take out of the van should he need to switch or get a new van. I searched online with little luck so far. Anyone have any ideas?

My ipod went through the washing machine (no comments please) a few weeks ago, and I left it to dry. Now, when I try to turn it on, the screen lights up for a few seconds then turns off. Nothing is on the screen other than the backlight, and when I plug it into Itunes it isn't recognized by Itunes or the computer. Also, nothing happens when I try to charge it through the computer or the wall charger. It is a fith generation Ipod video. Thank you in advance for trying to help me with my problem.

I have a Aiwa AM-F5 mini disk player which i have recorded several concerts with. I would like to transfer these onto CD and share with my friends although im not sure how do to this. Is there a cable i can get that will hook up to a usb port? I assume NEro can burn it onto cd easy enough?

Need to get a turntable but i like good sound. Fortunatly my grandfather gave me a garrard hi-fi many years ago so i grew up listening to good sound. It has now passed away after some 20 years,the record deck that is so i am looking for a replacement. On E-bay i found the rega planar 3 turntable combined with the above tone arms but i do not know which would be the better to go for. Any other reasonably priced turntable options would be considered if you can advise? My budget is around the £200 mark hence reason i was looking at the second hand market. Thanks for your help in advance.

My computer crashed and I lost my itunes files. So if I were to plug in my ipod to my computer with an empty itunes, all of my songs would be deleted. Is there any way I could either get more songs onto my ipod without clearing it, or to move the songs on my ipod onto my computer?

Just got a new laptop thru work, and on itunes - Shared Music - I have a coworkers shared music file. My laptop could be refurbished, is this more likely his used laptop or something to do with our network?

I used to sometimes also get into other coworkers yahoo fantasy football leagues too. So somethings up.

My guitar pick slides down through my fingers while I'm strumming up and down scales on my Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. I currently use Fender medium picks. I want a guitar pic that is a little more durable and that stays nicely in between my fingers while I'm strumming hard. Any suggestions??
