My computer crashed and I lost my itunes files. So if I were to plug in my ipod to my computer with an empty itunes, all of my songs would be deleted. Is there any way I could either get more songs onto my ipod without clearing it, or to move the songs on my ipod onto my computer?

You can download a free trial version of a program to get the songs off your ipod onto your computer. Just google a program.

If the songs on your iPod are paid for, the first time you plug the iPod into "fresh" install of iTunes, iTunes will offer to move the files over to the computer.
