about how many songs could i have using 2gb?
i dont know how much kb a song takes so any help would be helpful

At 4MB per song, 500. ~

Don't forget about the bitrate. Most MP3 players say they will hold 500 songs at 128 bitrate. If the son is 256 bitrate or something else higher then the file will be bigger, therefore making it harder to hold that many songs.

well i have 650songs on my 4 gb sansa plus videos photos comic specials etc. i could guess 400-500,average songs are between 3,000-5,000 kb

2 GB will get you about 500 average length songs (3-4 min), more if the songs are shorter, less if they are longer.
