My guitar pick slides down through my fingers while I'm strumming up and down scales on my Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. I currently use Fender medium picks. I want a guitar pic that is a little more durable and that stays nicely in between my fingers while I'm strumming hard. Any suggestions??

Try dunlop tortex ones? They are smooth, but there surface is slip resistant. Also, try varying your grip or add fingers. Some guitarists use two fingers and a thumb to hold the pick.

Bet you would like to see my huband's Stratocaster, it's a 1957, original. He still has the sales slip for it, the original wiping cloth, and the matching amp.
