I want to know because it is about $250 and I wanted to know if you think by next year the price will lower and by how much? Did it lower since last year? Help!

It's not going to go lower. Apple already lowered the price from $300 to $250.

you might be able to find one cheaper on ebay. i got mine for $200. however it was "new" and didn't work when i got it home. i took it back to apple and was given a new one, brand new fresh out of their box new.
the warranty carries over from old "new" ipods purchase date. so it covered it, the brand new one, for under a year.
if you do buy one at a store or online, get the extended warranty!!!
i doubt apple will lower the price bcse they kinda have the market monopolized right now.
you might want to shop other brands that play movies also.
i really am gravatating to the archos 404. the screen is almost 3x the size of an ipod and has more clarity and color too.

I really don't know if it will lower by next year. They sell very well. If they come out with a new one then it may lower.
Try to find one on ebay.com for cheaper.

the latest price at best buy is something below $240..
this would be the best buy..
