i am thinking of getting one to replace my burned out ipod. i love the larger screen and other features but would like to get feedback from someone who owns/uses one.

The sound quality is good but not the best. But the video quality is so nice and yup the screen is humongous.
You might also want to look at Creative Zen Vision: W, and Cowon A2. Both of them are wide screen and good video player.
In my opinion Archos looks better than the other products because of the steel casing
