I have several tapes that I made in the 80's and 90's that I'd like to transfer to cd's. Unfortunately, a number of the albums that I got the music from are not available on cd.

My husband gave me a brand new ipod 30gb. I was the fist person to check it out. I realized the volume thing was already locked which I do not know the code. It was weird that it came locked already. How do I unlock it?

I turned on the ipod at 12:00pm today. I tryed to play a song and it froze (stopped responding) every sinece. Its says now playing, but isn't and nothing you do you will change the screen, the computer wont see that its even there when you plug it into your computer. How do you upload someone's (not yours) music from iTunes onto your iPod without synching it or erasing what is already on the iPod? I thought I knew how, but I tried and it didn't work.

I got a Nano 4GB as a present but I'd like to exchange it for 50 more bucks for eighter the Nano 8GB or the Video 30GB. I don't care about the size or weight, I am not a jogging person, I am just concern about the tons of problems IPOD customers have, specially on the Ipod video, my boyfriend had 2 Ipods video and they both had hardware faliures. Is the Nano a better choice to avoid those problems? or they both have the same technology.

I am able to put some songs on my ipod but not others, why is this? I have looked on the apple website and asked around. I am using limewire to get music and the musaic doesnt tranfer. I have windows xp and all the newest updates for the ipod software I am at a loss

There is no place on the amp for magnetic cartridge output to the tape machine, so i can record an old record on a cassette tape. Record player has only one set of output contacts, and these go to the amp... i believe this is a possible act, but i am unable to make the connections. can you help me ?

I would like to get a new MP 3 player that I can take to the gym. One that can be strapped to my arm. I see a lot of people who use them, but I need a good recommendation. Perferably something that is compact, but still can hold plenty of songs.
