I turned on the ipod at 12:00pm today. I tryed to play a song and it froze (stopped responding) every sinece. Its says now playing, but isn't and nothing you do you will change the screen, the computer wont see that its even there when you plug it into your computer. Any help, please? 10 pts to the person who can

press and hold nmenu and the select buttons for at least 10 seconds. igf taht doenst work go to the apples store to restore it

try turning it off or refreshing it if tht don't work try plugging it in ur computer and if it picks it up restore the factory settings if u can do this u might want to save ur songs somewhere b/c it will delete them from ur ipod but if it's not picking up ur ipod when u plug it in i'm not sure wat else u could do besides call the company or somethin and maybe they can help u o make sure the plug thingy didn't somehow get knocked loose from ur computer sry couldn't be much help

Hold the Menu button and the center button down at the same time for a few seconds and that should restart the Ipod, and you shouldn't lose any of your data

Definitely take it in to the apple store or a service place if the computer is not recognizing it.

That happened to my cousin all the time on his iPod when he plugged iT iNto his car system.

All he did was wait for the battery to die and recharge iT.

either your batteries are dead ( try pluggining it into the USB port) or its frozen hold the center buttin at the same time as the menu button hope it works!

first of all, wat kind of ipod is it? if it is a nano, mini or video you should take it to an Apple store and ask them if they can troubleshoot it
