the easiest way to get music on to an Apple Ipod from a windows laptop would be by installing Apple Itunes.
not only is it free but it also organises your music on your PC but allow syou to manage the tunes on your Ipod

Download iTunes (itunes.com), then hook the iPod up to the laptop. There is a menu option to import files or folders of music. Might take a while if you have lots of songs.

Cheers!

I-tunes works with Microsoft and Apple. And do the rest like you would with a normal Computer.

You are locked into I-tunes and it sucks.

Buy a creative player and you can use anything that plays music to load tunes onto it. (including a CD player, no PC required).
