I use windows's disk defragmenter to defrag my iPod... and I regularly do that. Is it okay? Will it negatively affect the iPod in any way? Please give me details about my issue. Thanks a lot!!!

Is an ipod just a glorified mp3 player, does this mean that I can transfer tunes from itunes to any mp3 player? Are all mp3 players pretty much the same or are there any I should avoid? Thanks...

Are there wireless headphones or ear-pieces that will work with an i-pod? I ride a motorcycle and want something that will work with my helmet on.

In iTunes, I have playlists in a folder, but when I transfer them onto my fifth generation iPod Video, they aren't organised in folders any more, they are with all the other playlists outside the folder and the folder is nowhere to be seen. How can I put these playlists in a folder on my iPod?

It's one of those 'video types' and no matter what I do I can't make any adjustments to it.If I jam the earphones into my ear I can just about hear the base but as far as the volume is concerned I go through all of the instructions and.... nothing. To be honest the sound quality is awful and I am thinking of going back to my £20 MP3 player which is far superior, unless someone out there can help me.Look forward to your answers.......Lawrence.

For example if the original song file was 56kbps and is then encoded at 320kbps will it actually improve the sound quality, or will it just be more information of the same quality sound?

I'm not THAT interested in being able to have videos on it, only because I know it will cost way more and I dont want to spend too much, but it would be kind of cool to have the option. I want an ipod just because they seem to do it all, but I'm pretty open to any brand as long as I get my money's worth, I'm lookin to spend more or less about $200. any ideas?

I gave my friend a clean CD-RW to put some music on. He did and I uploaded that music on my computer. However, I put the CD in the CD player in my car and it won't play, saying there's an error. What's going on? Should I rewrite the songs on a CD-R because those work fine in my car.

Taking memory space, lifetime of the unit itself, and lifetime of the battery (as in how many times would the battery be able to be recharged before it has to be replaced.) into account. Thank you!

My friend gave me an iTunes Music Store Card (for $15.00) and I redeemed it a couple of days ago. I just got back on and I tried buying How To Save a Life-The Fray and an iTunes pop-up came up and said that the iTunes Music Store Card was not reconizable and I tried redeeming it again and also tried signing in and out twice. What is the problem? Please HELP!
