I'm starting to think they will. I laughed the other day when I realized I'm finding my CD's to be cumbersome becasue I remeber when we had 8 tracks.

Sorry predicting the destiny isn't achieveable basically experts can wager!! many experts assume the upward push of lossless formats to change the lossy MP3 yet even they're guessing..

lol yeah the only thing i use my cd's for now is to burn the mp3's on there so i have a back-up copy of them

It's already begun, many people have replaced their cds with digitized versions of the songs.

i wouldn't be surprised. With the high-tech world we live in now, we can't be content keeping the same thing too long. They will probably start selling SD cards (or something of the sort) in place of DVD's and CD's pretty quickly...
