I bought a Creative Zen 3 years ago, and over the next 2 years I had to send my player back to Creative 5 times for replacements (2 headphone socket problems and 3 Hard drive failures). Creative were pretty good at dealing with these issues, and they upgraded by player twice - but because I don't have a much disk space on my pc I don't keep all my music there - so every replacement required me to copy my CDs again - and 60Gb of music takes a long time to record.
Last Year I bought an iPod and, touch wood, I've had no problems and the interface and iTunes software is also much better than Creative's products.
So I'd recommend Apple, it may cost a bit more - but it's worth it

The best player at the moment is by Sandisk. It is the Sansa e200 series. Plays videos/ view photos and most of all listen to music with a radio too! It also has a memory card slot for up to 2 GB.
I have the e280 and it is fantastic. It's the 8GB version, and I have a 2 GB memory card so a total of 10 GIG flash memory!!
Check it out and type "e200" on google
Good luck

Hey, check this out and we both can get a free ipod nano:
http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=35260777
This is a genuine offer to get yourself a completely free ipod nano. It has been accredited by the BBC (see the video article here) and many people have got their Apple Mac’s through this and similar schemes.
Proof It Works. BBC News night feature on how it works, well worth watching:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/video/40101000/rm/_40101790_ipods_carver22_vi.ram
What to do:
Visit: http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=35260777
1.Sign up to the website and complete one offer ( I highly recommend the Screen Select / Lovefilm FREE trial, as it is a completely free 21 day trial with no obligations. Simply register, put in all your details, choose 15 movies, sit back and wait a few days until the giveaway site gives you credit - no need to pay a thing as it's very simple to cancel before your trial is up, and you even get free DVD rentals!)
2.Refer just 5 people to do the same for a 40GB . Ask friends & family, or make adverts like I am doing, and the referrals should rack up surprisingly quickly.
3.Then finally, Wait for your free ipod nano to arrive!!
Any questions, please add me to your MSN, my address is
