iTunes Playlist folders won't work on my iPod?

In iTunes, I have playlists in a folder, but when I transfer them onto my fifth generation iPod Video, they aren't organised in folders any more, they are with all the other playlists outside the folder and the folder is nowhere to be seen. How can I put these playlists in a folder on my iPod?

Presently, you can't. I organized all of my music in folders of playlists, and expected to be able to transfer everything over to my iPod, but they limit it to just straight playlists.

If you really prefer to organize your playlists within folders, there is one option available to you, which is to set up Notes with links to various playlists. Just make each individual note equate to one of your folders and hyperlink back to the playlists as instructed.
