My daugther, who will be 8 at christmas would like a MP3 player, but we will not get her a I-Pod like her older sisters.. What is the best, memory based player on the market under $100.00?

even when they're not plugged into the comp i still hear sounds. it's very unclear but its definitely radio. now all of a sudden i can only hear radio. i put on windows movie player but there is no sound only radio???

I don't understand what is going on here. I called them up and told them what happened, essientially the mp3 player installed itself, found new hardware, and went on to sync songs on the first shot... then today, the day after I first sync'd music, it doesn't recognize the device and says at first "Don't Disconnect, then it says charging" for about twenty seconds until it turns off and turns on automatically again, doing this whole process over again...

I checked the website, and the folks at Samsung told me that "the wires might be crossed" I reset the button, reinstalled windows media player 10, all that stuff, and I don't know what to do.

Can anyone recommend a good mp3 player that doesn't require synching through windows media player, cause my inclination is that my computer is messed up with windows media player, and honestly, all I want to do is click, copy, and paste files to and from my mp3 player, and supposedly nobody makes those kind anymore - at least @Best Buy, Thnx

After spending 2k on 4, 80gb ipods for my girls, I find myself with one computer and 1 notebook that I use for work which of course is off limits, So that leaves them with one, our home PC. After making this wonderful effort I hope that I receive the right answer, that is "YES " they will able to create multible itune accounts for there xmas presents on our Home PC if not what good are they. I clicked safly remove hardware and it said i could than I unblugged it but it said do not diconnect. = ( Now my ipod doesnt turn on and has the Apple sign and wont go off! What happened and how do I fix this! I really need someones help!

I super duper need help! i got it on ebay so i cant take it back.......this has happened to 2 of my ipodss and this one isnt even mine it my brothers and im screwed if i cant fix it

There is a huge crack in the middle of the screen. How much does it cost to fix? Is it better to sell it on eBay? Will anyone buy a broken iPod on eBay? And for how much?

(It's the 5G... not the newer 5G but the original)

Okay here it goes...

... Is there anyway I can move the library from my Ipod, which is synced to my home computer (windows) to my friends notebook (mac). We hooked it up through USB and messed around with it for a while but alas we could not discover away to get it done.

I thought I remeber my cousin was saying it was possible by turnign the Ipod on to harddrive mode....????

Any help would be appreciated.

And if it helps, his iTunes was still able to play the songs off my Ipod but it was random, but it did show the song title and length info and all that jsut couldm't get it to import the music into his notebook, and we were unable to view what was on my iPod.
