how many songs can an iPOD hold?

i know there is difnrt kinds that hld difrnt amounts but whats the most that they can hold? i don't mean adding numbers up i mean like wts the most advanced?

It depends on your encoded songs whether its bitrate is 128 or more. The higher the bitrate, the bigger is the file size and the lesser you can store on your Ipod. But nonetheless, it can stores more than 3, 000 songs. I have an Ipod video which i stores music and videos that are 4,000 in total and still has a remaining capacity of 15 gig left.
