Apple usually has a new modle line every year... If you buy yours soon after the line comes out (now) then its "new" for longer. There is no advantage form waiting till next year

it quite relies upon on what your possibilities are. i in my view think of the ipod touch is the extra desirable decision considering you're able to do plenty with it it has exciting apps you could play with and you'll be able to get onto your social networks . The ipod nano is large for recording movies. The ipod classic is surely classic you pay attention on your music and stuff so in case you choose someone-friendly ipod then the classic is a thank you to flow. The itouch is between the final nevertheless.

NO. Apple has a design flaw with the nano screens that they have YET to address or correct. My nano screen cracked in a shock resistant case that I've never even dropped. I have no idea what happened. If you read reviews, this happens a lot. I'd consider another brand.

No. My dad knew someone that had an ipod and when they were trying to download music off of their computer, the computer all of a sudden wasn't working because of a storm and all of the music that was already downloaded, wasn't in the ipod anymore.

I wouldn't suggest buying an iPod at all. They aren't worth it. Buy an RCA or something else.

Get it, unless you like more memory then go for the original. Cuz the new ones have less and less room for your music.
