What kind of MP3 player doesn't require you to use songs downloaded from iTunes or Rhapsody? I'm looking for one that holds about 1,000 songs,has decent sound quality, and can simply transfer existing songs from the computer to the player.

I haven't taken consideration into getting an iPOD, until recently, and I'd like to ask:

How well can you organize your songs on your iPOD
I like to listen to different types of songs, depending on my mood
Can I order them into different categories, and play one category?

I am in Middle school, and i am now with my 2nd bf. we both go to the same school, and he is a grade ahead of me. well, tomorrow is our 1 month "aniversary". I give him a note just about everyday.....he has probably gotten 8+ notes from me in the past month. he says he likes them. he has given me 2 though....but they were really sweet. we started off emailing, and i have 51 emails from him, but I am sure he has more from me. he is very sweet, and respects me.
well, i dunno if i should do anything for tomorrow. I MADE a card, that just says "hey.....yay! 1 month" and is decorated nicely. We seem SO perfect together, and I really like him & want him to know that he's special 2 me.
Should I give it to him? If not, what?
If you don't agree with the message on the card, what should it say. (Keep this all PG)

I'm having a Christmas party and I was going to mix about 30 CD's of my favorite Christmas songs and give them to the guests and my mother was like, "Is that legal?". So I was wondering... I got them off of iTunes if that makes a difference.

My videos are already converted to mp4 format and they are stores in itunes..when i go to itunes and click videos the cideos show up in all...but i when i connect the ipod nothing gets uploaded onto it. why is that? Also how do I put these videos into categories?

I would like to put some movies onto my iPod video so I can keep myself entertained while traveling over the Christmas break? I have already ripped some movies from my DVDs with X Copy Platinum but my iPod won't recognize the format that they are in.

I have a 40g Iriver mp3 player, was pretty nice when I bought it two years ago, but starting to have some issues now. It will only play for about three songs and then turn off. When I try to turn it back on it tells me the battery is dead, even if I had just charged it all the way up. If I wait a few hours it will turn on again, but repeat the same cycle. The only thing I can think of that could have damaged it was when I spilled some soju on it in Japan, but that happened months before this problem started. Does anyone have any idea how to fix the problem, or should I just get a new mp3 player?

It seems like a lot of bass players adjust the guitar strap so that it hangs right to wear it looks like they are fingering their crotch with every note. Why do they do that?

WELL IT WAS WORKING PERFECTLY UNTIL I ACCIDENTLY DROPPED IT!! THEN IT WOULDNT WORK.....I OPENED IT UP AND CHECKED EVERYTHING, BUT EVERYTHING SEEMS OK!! CAN U TELL ME WHATS WRONG??
