yeah i was wondering..for christmas i want either an ipod or a zune... but i have no idea which one to choose...i read about both of them and they both have good and bad sides but yeah which one do you guys think?

I don't know about the Zune. It does have a nice screen and FM turner.
But I have an iPod Video and I'm happy with it. Easily to manage and control. Besides, I heard microsoft doesn't have such a nice music store with a large variety of music you can choose from, like itunes. So, I'd get the iPod, but apple always upgrades and makes new models and everything, which is really annoying.

i think that u should get the iPod because who do u no that haz a zune to "boop" with to send and get songs (sync)? Who do u think would rather or does have an iPod? I can name a ton who have an iPod and NONE who have zune to "boop" with so i would go with the iPod. I like iPod better than my mp3 player than i have now (freind let me borrow his). my mp3 player is an RCA Lyra whitch came with my stereo so i have no idea how much memory it haz. It only haz a monochrome screen on it so i think i wanna upgrade! im gettin either the iPod nano 2nd gen (black) or the iPod nano 2nd gen (Product) red -or- the 30GB iPod with video (black) u can c that i like the iPod!

the ZUNE is better i have one!
The screen is way bigger and has FM tuner...
and the best thing is that you can send songs to your friends with zune without any wires

i could go on endlessly comparing these two, but it comes down to this.
for looks, go with an ipod nano/video
for capability, go with the zune

as of now, i would go for the ipod, its so clean and simple
the zune seems like it has some nice features, but you are forced to use its own proprietary music store, and the file sharing feature is novel, but because it is, not many people will be out there sharing
