I'm not going to hold a whole bunch of songs. So I'm wondering. Should I get an ipod nano with 1 or 2 GB??

I'm not talking about the ZEN Video:M There is another new Zen Video tht has a much bigger screen. and is about $399 US. I don't really care about the subsription music part. But I would like one of the two because I can play my videos on it. I've also herd that the Zens are bulkier, is tht true?? Or maybe I should wait 3 months for the next iPod. also,,,Could I download iTunes videos and ply them on a Zen Video ??

are there any experiences where connecting these generic products to the ipod caused ipod to malfunction?
to what extent will the ipod be affected?
(by generic i meant the cheper made in china products, not 3rd party products like monster and griffin)
since we are on the topic, which 3rd party ipod chargers/transmitters are best?

I'm using a 2000 watts stereo amp to power 1500 watts passive car subwoofer, mostly to listen to music. I've read here that using RG6 cable is good for the subs but I suggest that RG6 is only for the active subwoofers. Internal AWG of RG6 is 18, and I need at least 14, preferably 12 to keep my subs happy and sound. I was planning to get a usual 12 AWG speaker wire from a local electronics store, which will cost about $1/foot. Is there anything better of the same price range or cheaper of the same quality? Do I even need to bother with getting a shielded wire if the wire will only be up to 20 feet long (yet there are 3 electrical devises close by plus 2 floor speakers of 250 watts each)? Despite the fact that solid copper is tough to bend and run over the room - which is better to use for subwoofer, solid copper or stranded wire? In stranded wires - how many inside strands is better - more or less? What wire material is preferred within reasonable price range? Thank you

blank screen on i pod nano pressed menu nothing happens thought that battery must be flat, plugged it into computer to charge, started charging ok then a tick appeared on the screen and the battery bar had stopped moving. Removed i pod from computer pressed menu to start playing - usually an apple appears on the screen but on this time a file appeared and i couldnt play the music, after a few times of turning off and putting back on and the file appearing, it wouldnt do anything just a blank screen, plugged it back into the computer but nothing is happening even the computer dosnt seem to be able to find it, because when i go into i tunes the ipod appears but it not even doing this now.

i bought an ipod nano - 4gb but need help, please. where can i change the order in which the songs play...at the mo it plays ... 1 2 3 4 5,etc etc but i would like it to be played in random - 1 6 36 69 5, etc etc.

I know how to use iTunes and have imported practically my entire collection into. However, a few of my cd's won't do anything... they just spin in the tray. Can anyone offer suggestions as to how I can rectify this problem.

i have a whole bunch of songs on my itunes on my computer, and my boyfriend has a HUGE library of songs from his cd's. how do i set my 5g ipod to recognize both sets of music if i install itunes on my boyfriend's computer and add his music file into the itunes library?

I put some songs from my friends computers on to my ipod and I want to put them on my computer from my ipod. So I have more songs on my ipod than on my iTunes and those songs that are on my ipod and not in iTunes I would like to put in iTunes. Is this possible? I'm not that technilogically savvy, but I'd love an MP3 player. Everyone and their mother has an I-Pod, but i'm not about to fork over $300 bucks for one. Should I get a shuffle? Or is there a less expensive alternative? I don't need to download videos or hundreds of songs...

I have never owned an iPod but I will eventally. I'm almost certain that a new iPod will be coming out for the holiday season because they always do and the current iPod video prices are dropping. Is it worth the wait for the next iPod which could be really expensive ? Or should I just go for the iPod video right now while the prices are like $150-$200 on Ebay ?? I would like the next iPod, but I'm guessing that it's gonna be atleast $500, what should I do ?

iv installed it properly using its cd and everything.

now iv connected it to the computer and its been charging through the night. but it is always showing that same do not disconnect icon everytime.

even when i try to eject and disconnect it wont eject at all. the ipod menu just flashes a couple of times,in between ther "Do NOt Disconnet" image and then gives me the explanatin that it is in use by something else.i cant find out what it is that is taking so long.

or maybe there is something else that iv done wrong?!?
