I don't know for sure, but Ihavethat same problem, whenIam trying to mow the yard, with my ear protectors on, my earbuds fall into them, and I can't hear my music any more till I take off my ear protection and stick them back in! maybe if you put a little bit of petroleum jelly on the outside edge and wiped out your earbefore youput them in, maybe it would help it stay in longer, but with my ear buds all I have to do is give them an extra twist, so they will stick tight inside my ear.
Hope this answers your question.

Some people's earlobe shape isn't right for earbuds. Yes, they do look better and are more convenient, but they don't actually fit everyone.
