I can tell you from experience... I have the 8gb and I love it!! It is so much better than the stupid iPod that every one is goo-goo-ga-ga over... I had one for about three months and it quit working so then I got the Zen Micro Photo and have had it for almost a year and never had a problem!! Plus, the battery life is long & it's quick charging!

I bought Creative MP3 player a couple of years ago. And now it doesn't work due to some software problem inside the MP3 player.

I used it only occasionally, and it still looks brand new. But when I turn it on, it gives some kind of message about loading default.rom cd. My Xp operating system doesn't recognize it anymore. And there is nothing I can do to fix it.

My friend has a Creative Zen, but it isn't hat exact thing but he semms to like it. They seems durable and work just as well as the ipod. If that is the type you want and will fit your needs I say go for it.

4GB? I never knew about a 4GB model. I have seen the 8GB model, though.

If the 4GB model is cheap, then sure, buy it!
