I'm not going to hold a whole bunch of songs. So I'm wondering. Should I get an ipod nano with 1 or 2 GB??

Go for 2Gb. You can fit an average of just over 500 songs on it. If you don't have that many, after much use, you will eventually get more than that and wish you had the bigger one. Better safe than sorry.

DONT GET THE IPODS!!!!!!
Ipod shuffle doesn't have a screen
Ipod nano is to thin, can be easily broken with ONE drop
Ipod video is too big, u dont even want to carry them
Everyone has an Ipod (white or black), it looks so stupid if you have a same one.
Go to circuitcity.com or creative.com and look for better mp3 players.
I recommend the Zen V plus (out in late August, I think), which can play music, radio, record, view pictures and even video. It is rather smaller (but thicker) and looks better than the Ipod Nano. It come with 1 GB, 2 GB or 4 GB and cheaper than any other mp3 player than can play video

2GB. You'll be thankful later.

Question: Are you sure you want an iPod? You can get more storage for less money if you buy a different brand of MP3 player like Creative.

If your budget agrees, why not get the 2gb just in case. You can also use it to backup your data.
