How is the process to copy a video from VHS to DVD? I have a standalone Phillips DVD recorder (not for PC) but it has some extrange outputs connectors (Composite video (CVBS) output). How I can connect it to an VHS if the VHS doesn't have those CVBS connectors?

its for a home theater and the speaker is not very big, its probably about a 8 inch sub and i need to know where the right place is to put it so i can get the best sounding overall bass out of it. I noticed that you hear more bass if i am standing beside it or right behind it. But when i stand in front of it the bass seems to sound less powerful.

Well i was playing Xbox and of course i crank it as loud as it will go, and now (i was playing forza motorsports) When ever i reach a certain RPM on my car, my speakers start to buz and like ring really loud. I took the back speakers and moved them to the front, then they were fine for a while and now i think i screwed up one of those. Did i blow my speakers or what?? And if i did, should i just buy like a cheap bookshelf system (like 500-600w) or should i get a nicer home theater set up? It is just in my bedroom with a 20in TV and i mostly use it for music, but i like loud music with a lot of bass. what whould i do?

For all who own an HD-DVD are you happy with your purchase? How do you feel about the fact that they may become a piece of useless trash like Betamax? Do the rest of you think Blu-Ray stands a chance given that the player costs about the same as a down payment on a decent car? Please give serious reasons.
