ws-55807 no power?

I have a mitsubishi ws-55807 that will not power up...
when it is plugged up it will only make a "bumm" sound from the circut boards. No lights or nothing will come on completely unresponsive...

power supply is bad. call a local electronics store and the run about 100 dollars for a new one. hope this helps
