when i put a copied dvd into my sony DVP-NS50P dvd player it shows the video but black and white...but the same DVD shows colur in other dvd players...but if iam putting a original dvd it works well with colour..y is that..can anyone help me out...

The solution seems simple to me... the Sony obviously does not like copies. Three choices, try a different copier, use originals only, or go through the long, grueling process of trying to get ahold of Sony tech support and see if there's a mod. Chances are, no mods are available as Sony will undoubtedly recommend not using copied DVDs.
