My PS3 is about 50-60 feet away from my computer room and we all know that the PS3 have a wi-fi feature. I didn't want to have to buy a large ethernet cord, so what are my other options for the best online gaming connection?

so i read on wikipedia that the new 1.2 patch should be coming out in december of this year (which is obviously this month)...and it gave a bunch of details about it, and it sounds pretty sweet...looks like theres gonna be a lot of new stuff....but does anyone know the exact date or where i can find the exact date for it? and is it still being planned to be released this month, because i know how stuff like this gets delayed all the time

it wont let me connect to live...ran the test for connection and everything passes and the nat is open,my ip address is confirmed,dns is also,mtu confirmed.icmp confirmed,xboxlive connected...but it wont let me connect...how come if the test showed everything passing or confirmed....its been like this since tuesday night...my internet is working fine! Any suggestions?

I've just bought my Fiance a Light Gun for his ps2 for Christmas....Can anybody recommend some games that will work with it please. Tried google and a few online game stores but they don't tell you if the games are compatible with guns or not.

I have my ps3 connected with a hdmi for video and av for sound. Now I got my ps3 directly connected to my surround sound using my av cables (which was included with the console) Now do I get better sound using my hdmi or better sound using my av.

My boyfriend bought the Transformers HD DVD when it came out but realized he couldn't play it in his Xbox 360. Since he uses the console as his primary DVD player, I was thinking that that would make an awesome Christmas gift. I just got a Playstation 3 today and love it. The problem is, I put it on a shelf covered on the sides and back. The PS3 is exposed in the front to room temp and has some space to breathe on the side. I left it on from 6PM to 11PM today to download demos and despite hearing that the PS3 doesnt get too hot, the PS3 was actually warmer than the 360 has ever gotten for me.


I was wondering, could my PS3 overheat in there and should I keep it out in the open, should I keep it where it is, or should I get an intercooler for it if I plan on keeping it where it is? I have heard that those are just a waste of money though.

For the playstation 3, I have a question. In a previous question someone replied that soon rumble would becoming back. Would you just have to buy a new controller that has rumble or buy a whole new playstion 3? And can you get upgrades on the PS3 that you own?
