My PS3 is about 50-60 feet away from my computer room and we all know that the PS3 have a wi-fi feature. I didn't want to have to buy a large ethernet cord, so what are my other options for the best online gaming connection?

It really doesn't matter which connection you use, but a Wired Connection will have a more stable connection. The Wireless connection is good also, but there can be interference that can lower the signal.

As long as your router gives your PS3 a strong signal, you should be fine and the wireless connection will be great. But, it's probably better if you use a Wired connection because you will have a stronger and faster connection.

Understand that wi-fi can be blocked, jammed and distorted. Using a network cable is always the better option simply for the reliability.
