yes it will work on your LCD Tv. If you have a HDMI Port, plug it in. From what I heard, if you ae a constant gamer or be on PS3, it will be good to use LCD tv's.

Yes, you can hook it up with the component cables the PS3 came with or with a HDMI cable. I really can't tell a difference between the cables
