For the playstation 3, I have a question. In a previous question someone replied that soon rumble would becoming back. Would you just have to buy a new controller that has rumble or buy a whole new playstion 3? And can you get upgrades on the PS3 that you own? Also does the PS3 allow you to get and play gears of war, halo 3?

You won't need to replace PS3 for that. :-) New joypads are calle Dualshock3, they will be on sale from the beginning of 2008. They are already on sale in Japan (from November). If you want to buy them now - www.playasia.com or www.ebay.com

Yes you will need to buy a new controller as the current "Six-Axis" controllers do not have any ruble parts in them. The new rumble controllers are called "Dual-shock 3", not sure when they will be available, their are 2 colours, black and white.

You will not need to buy a new PlayStation 3.

As for game support, it will be up to the game manufactures weather they will support the rumble function in their games or not, i know a number of games that are already out will be releasing patches for them that you can download (most likely for free) that will enable the rumble function to work for them.

I think that you would just have to get a remote with a rumblepack.
