Which game is a better rpg,and why?im getting a xbox 360 this weekend,and ive always wanted obl.but ppl r saying m.e. is brillient.im also leaning towards obl cuz i can get it 4 atleast a 3rd of the price 0f m.e.which gives beta replay value?beter ai etc.

The better RPG = Oblivion because it's a true RPG. You can do what you want, where you want and how you want. If you don't want to do the main quest and follow the main storyline, don't. If you want to become the higest ranks in the Thieves guild, the Mage's guild, etc. Go do it. If you liked Morrowind or any of the previous Elder Scrolls series, you'll love this!
Mass effect is a great game! It's a great balance between shooter and RPG, but if price is a concern, you can get Oblivion for $20 and be occupied for 3 months. By that time you can go buy Mass Effect and play that through. Happy hunting!

Mass Effect just came out. You can get Oblivion now and play it while you wait a little while for the price of Mass Effect to drop.

I played Oblivion for months and months and wasted a good piece of my life on it and that was with just one character. It was well worth it though. I don't know about Mass Effect but I am praying that my wife gets it for me for Christmas.
