I'm thinking of joining Verizon for a family share plan. If I get the 1400 minutes package and the plan is for 4 people, would we each get 1400 minutes or will the 1400 minutes be divided between the 4 of us? I'm guessing that its going to be 1400 minutes divided between us cause its a "share" plan but just clarify on my guess please.

Is it true that if anyone calls 911 from their cell phone, can the dispatcher try to track you down if there is a GPS system installed? Will the personal information (the # will show up on the computer) will show up on the the dispatcher's computer? If you call multi-x-times, will they track where you are currently at? How does the main system work if you dial 911 more than 2-x-times? How does this process work? If you know how this works, please tell me with the straight answer. Thank You!

Ok i just started talking to this girl, my minutes arent free until 7 (sprint) so i try 2 text her. I notice she wouldnt text me back during the day sometimes. I called her and asked what was up and she said she never got them, i look at the text n they all said "text sent" she called later saying she got them later on.

How come that is happening?
She is the only person i had problems with text messaging.

Hello guys!
.I have a Motorola L6 phone and an ACER laptop,both have in-built bluetooth. I wanna transfer songs from my laptop to phone.
The problem: My mobile does show up on my laptop but when I select the file and try to transfer it to my phone,it says "error establishing a connection,FTP connection failed"
If the phone shows up,it means its connected right?? Then why can't I transfer my file?
Tell me step-by-step as to how I can successfully connect with FTP(file transfer protocol) for my phone.
I have tried several times,but it keeps sayin that "error establishing connection" even though my phone shows up ...
Just guide me through all the "pairing,FTP,configuration etc" needed to connect , please......

I get annoyed lately, especially at always low prices store, the chips are in the impossible to open packaging anyway, but we have to wait for a cashier to unlock memory cards and such to purchase one. That means if there are 9 customers in line, which there usually are, they go first. Are you having similar problems at large stores also?

i want to get a new cell phone. i can pay half the price of an enV i found online. i currently have straight a's and study for tests and etc. i do extra ciricular activites such as boy scouts. the place where i know is local, about 15-20 minutes away. although, my dad is going to buy a new treo for business and since the buy one get one free deal, only happens on a new line, i don't know what to do. the phone itself is awsome. and so on. but every time i ask him, he always says not now and you already have a phone, just use that. how can i convince him?

Last night I accidently spilled beer all over my phone, its a flip phone verizon samsung with a screen on the front and those little white play rewind and forward buttons below the screen for the music player. Anyways, So all night I could make calls but my screen was blank white, eventually it went back to normal a few hours later. So everything is fine.

One problem, I turned it off, put the charger in, it says battery charging for about 30 seconds then it stops and says charging halted. What is the problem??

Im 14 years old and my birthday is coming up in the next week and I really wanted an iPhone. I know you all may think they either are the best, or the suck. I have seen about...30 videos on youtube so far for texting, internet, video, camera, music, music videos, movies, and etc. for the iPhone and I don't see any problems with it and I love it. I really don't give a hoot if its like 1 minute slower than some other phone, or if you don't think the texting is good. Im just wondering if it would be a good phone for me.

I would just appreciate some feedback on which mobile phone is best (functionally and value-wise) for travelling with i.e. I would guess that it's probably a Nokia with long battery life and has at least tri-band or quad-band functionality plus I would have to be able to unlock it so that it can be used with other sim cards from other countries?

Any thoughts or suggestions is much appreciated!?

2. if im going to get a plan for texting, what is the 4.99 plan ?
i looked at the site and i clicked on demo and it said unlimited texting for 4.99 then i looked at the plans and it said 200 texts. i got really confused. so which one is unlimited? which one is the best in your opinion?

if i got the plan, i would probably text maybe 10 times a day idk
so what plan would be good for me monthly?

How can you transfer ringtones from one cell phone to another? Both phones are Motorola V323i and are both bluetooth capable. I heard there was a way to do this by placing the phones side by side, but don't know the steps.

Sometimes my time clock on my phone will stand still for hours until I push a key on the pad at witch time it will change. Very annoying since we all look at our phone to check the time and now my phone is unreliable. I'm wondering if the alarm clock will work if the time is not updating, or maybe its just the display or something. Anyone else have suggestions.
