motorola V3m displyas wrong time, time stops updating?

Question

Sometimes my time clock on my phone will stand still for hours until I push a key on the pad at witch time it will change. Very annoying since we all look at our phone to check the time and now my phone is unreliable. I'm wondering if the alarm clock will work if the time is not updating, or maybe its just the display or something. Anyone else have suggestions.
