I lost the "mobile phone tools" CD.. do you know how can i download the software (that connects my motorola to the computer) for free?

My wife had her handbag stolen last night in Birmingham city centre. Fortunately there was not much cash in the bag, but the main concern she has is her mobile phone, which she says "had her whole life inside".

Forgive me if this obvious but I need to know, once the phone has been replaced by the insurance company, will she be able to recover her stored phone numbers which had been saved to the SIM card?

I have a regular at&t plan and i broke my phone my friend has a go phone that she is no longer using. if i put my sim card in this phone will it work? will it mess up my service?
has any one actually done this?

I keep getting calls from someone who is using a blocked number and its starting to freak me out since its been going on for a lot longer than any prank caller would do. i know that I could change my number or set up my phone to not accept blocked calls, but that wouldnt solve the fact that someone is basically obsessed with me for some reason. Is there a way to find out who is doing it?

I can set the ring volume and it makes the right sample noises.

When however someone calls the number, the front screen illuminates; but it doesn't make any ringing noise. If you answer the 'phone you can talk with the other person. Nor will it make any noises when a text arrives, although it has been set to do that too.

It's been turned off & on again, Battery has been taken out and replaced, and we have tried an alternative SIM. It was originally with Virgin, but has been unlocked to all networks.

Any constructive suggestions out there?

If I go with the 450min which is 39.99 a month how much can I be expected to pay each month after taxes and what not. I would never go over, because its just for emergencies, call family, or make long distance calls.

I also would get all the flashy ringtones, what every the phone comes with is fine, and I don't text much either less than 6 times a month.

So how much would it cost?

Currently I have Virgin Mobile, its okay, but I'm tired of prepaid, I'm pretty sure I can afford 50 dollars a month for the 450mins a month plan.

Most of my family has verizon and I would be charged extra minutes for when I call them. I think it is very possible that I can keep up with the bill, I get at least 120 every 2 weeks from work study and have little other bills, extra for 2 credit cards that I'm trying to get paid off.

So what do you say, think or have any opinions?

I believe my mom cancelled my cell phone plan. I'm 20 and I live in the dorms. How was she able to cancel my plan? I just set up my plan today, I was talking on it, I hung up, then I tried to call someone. It said the call failed. I don't get it...

I have a verizon contract that doesn't end till this July.. I'm looking at phones on ebay though..does anyone know if I do buy a phone since verizon doesn't have sim cards (damn idiots) would I be able to go get it activated even though my contract isn't done and it wasn't purchased through them?
